Happy 100th Birthday to SMA volunteer, Miss Peggy Hurley

Miss Peggy Hurley and Mrs Kay Murray

The Society of African Missions offers its sincere congratulations to Miss Peggy Hurley from Carrigmadden, Carrigatoher, Co. Tipperary, on the occasion of her 100th birthday.  Peggy has been a faithful supporter of the SMA Family Vocations Crusade for many decades.

Peggy is just one of many loyal members throughout Ireland who have generously dedicated their time and resources in helping the SMA to educate and train new missionaries. Without their generous support our work and outreach would be severely diminished.

The photograph shows Peggy at a birthday celebration organised in her honour on Wednesday 11th January in Ballywilliam, Nenagh. Celebrating with Peggy is her great friend, Mrs Kay Murray, from Carrigatoher, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. This year, Kay will mark the occasion of being a Head Sponsor for the SMA Family Vocations Crusade for 30 years. Throughout those decades Peggy has worked alongside Kay.

We send our warm congratulations to Peggy on this great mile stone and wish her many more years of health and happiness. And we send our sincere thanks to Peggy and Kay for all their loyal support throughout the decades, as we do to all our Head Sponsors and FVC volunteers throughout Ireland.
