Fr Flanagan appointed a member of the Irish Provincial Council
The Superior General, Fr Fachtna O'Driscoll, has confirmed and approved the appointment of Fr Malachy Flanagan as a member of the Provincial Council for the remainder of this mandate. Approval was given following the necessary consultation process as outlined in the Irish Provincial legislation and the SMA Constitutions & Laws. Fr Malachy remains as the Provincial Bursar.

Our picture shows the reconstituted Provincial Council with the Superior General, whose election led to the vacancy on the Provincial Council. From left, Frs Damian Bresnahan, Fachtna O'Driscoll, John Dunne (Provincial Leader) and Malachy Flanagan. We wish all of them every blessing in their new roles.
